In the Spot Light- Pastor's Training School
As pastor of Oakside Baptist Church, let me tell you how excited we are to host the 2008 Good Shepherd Baptist Mission's Pastors Training School and Retreat. Our staff and church family look forward to serving you this Sept. 22- 25. I have attended PTS twice myself, and both times my heart has been stirred and God gave me tools to improve my ministry. Those weeks radically changed my life and my ministry and it is my prayer that we can impact yours in the same manner.
We consider it a privilege and honor to minister to some of God's choicest servants. You will be treated to some of Georgia's finest cooks and cooking, warm southern hospitality and sweet fellowship with a church family who understands and appreciates your commitment to the cause of Christ.
The retreat atmosphere and setting at Pioneer will be refreshing to you spiritually and physically. The daily sessions will challenge you and equip you with fuel for the fire in your soul. The evenings will provide opportunities for rest and relaxation, and some recreation with a gymnasium, swimming and fishing at West Point Lake as well as one of my secret "hot spots".
Above all, it is our desire to serve you for a few days as you spend countless hours serving others. Whatever it takes to make your time at PTS comfortable and rewarding, we will seek to do. The fine folks at OBC stand ready to make this week the highlight of your year.

Directions:
The camp is located at 1900 Young's Mill Rd., LaGrange GA.
If you are coming south down I-85, take exit 14 and turn right on Hamilton Rd toward the Hampton Inn. Then follow the directions found here the camp will be on the right side of the road.
If you are coming north up I-85, take exit 14 and turn left on Hamilton Rd toward the Hampton Inn. Then follow the directions found here. The camp will be on the right side of the road.
