Our 55+ crowd eagerly and enthusiastically serve the Lord with a monthly visitation time and luncheon as well as regular outings and events for fellowship and fun.

Our monthly men’s ministry meets one Tuesday evening each month at 7 PM for a time of fellowship, service, and camaraderie that is centered around our bond as Christian men. We focus our devotional times on areas of interest and struggle for men and fathers in our society.  The men also meet one Saturday each month for breakfast and to attend to work projects around the church as needed.

Our monthly ladies’ ministry meets one Thursday night of each month at 7 PM for fellowship, mission projects, and a time of sharing and devotions that revolve around the heart and needs of our women. In October of 2008 our ladies will be hosting their first Ladies Conference.

Let us help you in developing the next generation of godly leaders. Our youth leaders love teens and desire to see them grow in the knowledge and application of Biblical Truth to their lives. The focus of our youth program is to help teens love God, their families and others, and to see them make a spiritual impact in the community. Our teens:

-- Have their own Sunday School class.

-- Participate in SIGMA every Wednesday night 6:45-8:15 PM (during the School Year only). Sigma is a          Bible Centered program of activities, teen led small groups, and Bible preaching that challenges them    in their walk with the Lord. 

-- During the summer, the teens meet each Wednesday night at 7 pm for "Youth Group".  This is a lighter    schedule and is a great time for the leaders to get to know the teens, and the teens to get to know the      leaders, a litte better.

-- Have monthly ministry and fellowship activities and outings.

-- Attend Camp and/or Youth Conference every summer.

-- Serve by being involved in our church choir, orchestra, nursery, visitation, VBS, and other church                 ministries throughout the year.

We believe children are at a crucial stage of life and developement. It is our desire to see children of all ages develop Biblical character and a love for the Lord Jesus and His precious Word. We support parents in their critical role of leading children into a relationship with Christ and disciplining them as they grow. We do this through:

-- A well staffed, interactive nursery program with workers who strive to provide a nurturing environment        for our tiniest church attenders.

-- Sunday School classes for children K3 through 6th grade.

-- Beginner church for children K3 - K5.

-- Junior Church for children grades 1st-5th.

-- Master's Clubs Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 PM (during the school year only).                                    
    Little Lambs: K4 - K5    Primaries: Grades 1-3    Ambassadors: Grades 4-5

-- From June through August we have a Wednesday Night Bible Club at 7 pm for our 1st through 5th            graders. A lighter schedule with a Bible story, singing and short Bible memory verses is a great break      for our Clubbers.

-- Summer (Day) Camp for our church kids for 1st through 6th grade that runs in conjunction with                    Herigtage Christian Day Camp.

-- Various other activities and outings throughout the year.

For over 20 years, WOAK has provided LaGrange and the surrounding areas of Troup County with Christ honoring Southern Gospel and conservative Christian music and more. Acts 1:8 commands us to reach our local area as well as the whole world. We strive to reach everyone in our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ through training and equiping the saints to give them the knowledge, wisdom, and confidence in our Lord they will need to make a difference in LaGrange.
