Our Purpose
At Heritage Day Camp we offer a solution to the "school's out for summer" problem many working parents face.
We seek to meet this need by providing a wholesome time of fun,
recreation and life instruction. The safety and welfare of each camper
is of the utmost concern to our staff and workers. The camper's
activities is carefully supervised and monitored.
At Heritage Day Camp emphasis is given to Christian
values including good citizenship, patriotism, self-respect, honesty,
kindness, humility, modesty, unselfishness, service, generosity and
good manners. We believe these values can be learned through individual
character development by the use of daily chapel services, Bible verse
memorization, discipline (corporal punishment not used), and positive
interaction and role modeling by our staff and workers.
For the sake of consistency and unity, we only use
the King James Bible in our chapel services and memorization exercises.
Our doctrinal statement, which guides our Bible teaching approach, is
available upon request.
